Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995

With the implementation of the DDA, you are legally obliged to take all reasonable steps to make your products and services accessible to disabled people. With certain exemptions for small companies, you also have a legal obligation to ensure that disabled people are not discriminated against in the workplace. You must afford them equality of treatment when recruiting and allow them equal access to training and promotion.

Are you confident that your company complies with the terms and the spirit of the Act?

Promptpayer, in partnership with SLI Ltd., is now able to offer a comprehensive DDA compliance service to its members; from informal advice for small companies by telephone or email, to comprehensive disability access audits for larger employers and organisations.
